Ultralight, low cut waterproof/breathable gaiters
Description:
A low cut, and waterproof breathable gaiter for hiking or trail running. The Icewater is made of our own 2.5 layer waterproof/breathable fabric we like to call DAM! It's durable, breathable, and extremely lightweight. Great for use in light rain, wet grass, and light or compact snow. It comes with both the GatrGard durable instep strap for durability and a 1/4" cord for the instep if you don't need the extra durability.

Optional is an adhesive 1" hook and loop tab so you can completely do away with the straps all together if you choose. One end is sewn to the inside of the back of the gaiter and the other is glued directly to the back of your shoe. This is my preferred method, since it is less fuss and wont have the snowballing affect in snow that occurs with instep straps. The only negative is that you will have a hook and loop tab permanently attached to your shoe.

It features:
-an elastized top and and gently elastized bottom to help keep a good seal from the elements
-1" hook and loop front opening and closure system (you don't have to take your shoe on or off to remove the gaiter)
-1" hook and loop 'snap' on the bottom part of the opening to help keep the closure secure
-3 different sizes small, medium, and large
-comes with both a 1/4" cord for instep and a set GatrGard instep straps
-optional hook and loop attachment so you can do away with the straps if you prefer

-lightest waterproof/breathable gaiter with a front opening made

Notes:
If you plan to be hiking in really soaking wet conditions, especially for days on end, consider using a highly breathable non-waterproof shoe and gaiter combo (like the Alum Gaiter). No shoe or gaiter will be able to keep moisture out in really soaking conditions and once it is in it will be a heck of a lot harder to get out with a waterproof system.
