Description:
Optional aluminum pack stay for the Renegade will give you a greater load carrying capability. It comes pre shaped to fit most backs, but can easily be custom bent by hand to get the fit spot on if need be. Although just a bit heavier than a carbon fiber stay system, aluminum offers greater strength, has more flexibility as you move and can be custom shaped. Also great for a do-it-yourselfer making their own pack and would like to be able to put a frame stay in it.
Comes with a 3/8" foam backpad if ordered with the Renegade Pack. A sleeve is sewn into the pad to hold the pack stay that still allows the stay to be removed.
Specs:
Size small fits a 16 to 18 inch torso and weighs approximately 1.8 oz
Size medium fits a 18 to 20 inch torso and weighs approximately 2 oz
Size large fits a 20 to 22 inch torso and weighs approximately 2.2 oz
